Policies and Shipping

We stand behind everything we sell. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, simply return unused and unopened items within 30 days and we'll replace it or give you a refund. If you request a refund, the purchase price will be refunded less the shipping and handling charge. Please read "Returns" below for more information.

SHIPPING (Continental U.S.)

Four shipping options are offered for merchandise delivery. We use UPS and USPS for all shipping. We will determine the best and fastest method to get your order to you in the most timely manner. If your order can be shipped for less than what is shown in the checkout process, we will edit shipping cost accordingly.

Note: Orders placed by noon Eastern time will ship same day. Orders placed after noon will ship the following business day. In addition, since the store is closed on Monday, orders placed on Sunday or Monday will ship on Tuesday.

Please note that some items may be subject to additional shipping and handling charges because of size or weight. Fishing rods and gaffs require a $6.50 shipping tube charge to insure your purchase arrives at your location free of defects. Coolers, pier carts and other bulky items will be charged at UPS dimensional weight rates plus standard shipping charges. Orders that require multiple boxes will be charged standard shipping rates per box unless expedited shipping is requested. In that case, expedited shipping rates apply. Insurance is provided free up to $200.00. Each 100.00 increment over that will be charged $.75.

All items purchased that are over $100.00 must have matching billing and shipping addresses, and are not premitted to be shipped to any address other than the billing address, except in approved circumstances.

*IN-STORE PICKUP

Most orders will be ready within one business day. Please keep in mind that some items may require additional processing time to transfer from off-site locations. Other items may require additional processing time for assembly. We will call or email you once your order is ready for pickup. If you need an item right away we ask that you call us to confirm that the product is available before heading over to our store. Unless special arrangements are made in advance, orders need to be picked up within 15 days or a 10% restocking fee will be charged.

INFORMATION SECURITY

We protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts all of the information you provide to us and prevents outside parties from being able to "see" your transaction information. When your account information is displayed on your screen, we only display the last five digits of your credit card numbers. You also have the choice of whether or not to save credit card information with us in your Online Account.

BACKORDERS

 

Occasionally, some items are unexpectedly out of stock or unavailable. We do not accept backorders. When your order ships, we will only bill you for the merchadise that is sent. We will notify you by email when we expect that product to arrive at which time you may reorder it then. If necessary, please call the shop and we will be glad to work out the best shipping method for you.

RETURNS

 

If there‚Äôs a problem with something you purchased from us, you can either bring it to our store or ship it back. Ship returns via Ground UPS or insured US Mail (we do not accept CODs). Merchandise returned that appears used will not be accepted unless defective. (Labor fees are not refundable, i.e., custom line winding, etc.) Returns over $100.00 must have a return authorization number clearly marked on the outside of the package, or the item will be refused. A return authorization number may be obtained by phone or e-mail.
